November Ballot Update

July, 2024 – The CPA Warrant article was the last item to be discussed at Town Meeting and it lost by a mere two votes! Had it passed, it would have automatically been placed on the November ballot to allow all Colrain voters – not just the 10% who came to Town Meeting – to make their views known. Fortunately for us, there is another path to getting the CPA on the November ballot: collecting the signatures of 5% of registered Colrain voters. And we’re working on that now! Want to sign? If so, you can:

  • Contact us by filling out the form on the Contact page
  • Download a signature sheet that you can sign, ask your friends and neighbors to sign, and then arrange to have it picked up by filling out the form on the Contact page. The signature form is here and will open in a new tab. Use your browser File menu to export or save the file as a PDF file, then print it out!

Directions for signing signature form:

  1. In the left hand column, sign, then print, your name as it appears on the voter rolls.
  2. In the right-hand column, simply put your street address. You do not have to write ‘Colrain’
